Kobina Abaka-Kwansa is an Entrepreneur and a multi-potentiality with a little over 6 years of building, supporting, and growing businesses and individuals in Africa and other parts of the world. He is currently a final year Master of Business Administration candidate at the University of Ghana Business School, specializing in Management Information System, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Major.
Over the past few years, he has worked in multi-national companies like Huawei, DKT International, Busy, and the Dutch Government as a project consultant for Closing The Loop on the New Business Challenge program. In 2016, he was enlisted in the Top 100 student entrepreneurs in Ghana, and also in 2017, he was given recognition from the Educom Awards as the exclusive nominee for the enterprise initiator of the year category. Also in 2018, he was nominated for 40 under 40 young and emerging leaders in Advertising and Marketing.
He is the Founder and Team Lead at Reach Marketing Ghana. Founded in 2014 as a campus enterprise, the company is fast growing to become a preferred one-stop-shop marketing agency for various organizations across the globe. Also at The New African Mind where he is also the Founder and Team Lead, he has set up this social initiative to focus on transforming the mindsets and to change the narrative of Africans. Kobina’s vision is to make the continent of Africa become a hub of opportunities and also a place where dreams can be achieved, one place at the time
